We made a great choice. Sally has said to me a few time how relaxed she is feeling. I woke this morning to a moving boat. I walked up onto the deck and we were moving along in the morning sun and it was fantastic. It was quiet and the coast line was beautiful.
I jumped in the water four time today and the water was cool and refreshing. It is early June. I am sure the water is very refreshing come July an August. Dinner last night was fish and pasta and salad with cheese. It was very good. Lunch today was vegetarian and good. The drinks are prices well and the staff is responsive.
The only complaint I had was that there were no snorkels. I asked if we could get snorkels from one of the other V-GO boats nearby and 20 minutes later I had 2 snorkels. The service is really good.
We have two groups on board. A group of Turks from Istanbul and a group of Germans. Sally and I and two single ladies are the remainder of the guests. This is the German groups fifth year coming back for a cruise with V-GO Yachting and Travel if that says anything to you. Everybody is nice and friendly.
Our room is great also. It is much larger than I expected. A full size bed and a large bathroom. Although I have experienced mild sea sickness in the past on my first day on the water, I barely noticed it on the V-GO boat. The boat is wide with lots of seating and places to lay in the sun or in the shade. We are the M/S Northwind, bit I think most of there boat are similar (at least the ones I have seen).
Sally and I are really enjoying the trip so far. I will post some great pictures at weeks end.
